Bologna Dreams

Bologna Dreams nasce da una ricerca fotografica degli spazi urbani della città, in varie situazioni di luce, tempo atmosferico, presenza di persone.
Attraverso un particolare utilizzo di software di elaborazione si ottiene una fusione onirica delle immagini con una serie di tonalità che esaltano
i colori tipici dell’architettura bolognese; i dettagli costruttivi; i materiali degli edifici; le atmosfere cittadine, da gioiose a cupe, da solari a gotiche.
Attraverso questa lettura cerco di rendere le sensazioni, spesso molto discordanti, che l’anima della città proietta sull’ individuo che la percorre, come cittadino o “foresto”, accolto o respinto, sicuramente impressionato......

Bologna Dreams was born from a photographic research of the urban spaces of the city, in various situations of light, weather, presence of people.
Through a particular use of elaboration software we obtain a dreamlike fusion of images with a series of tones that exalt the typical colours of Bologna's architecture; the construction details; the materials of the buildings; the city atmospheres, from joyful to gloomy, from sunny to gothic.
Through this reading I try to convey the often very discordant sensations that the soul of the city projects onto the individual who walks through it, as a citizen or as a "foreigner", welcomed or rejected, certainly impressed......
